Local content strategy

Ecolog manages remote sites around the world. As part of a tender for a mining client in Madagascar, Ecolog needs to highlight its Local Content strategy and maximize the involvement of local communities in the project.

classM designed the strategy integrated into the bid response file, which is based on a detailed analysis of social issues, in particular from the business and country expertise (Madagascar) of classM managers. The proposed development plan outlines several projects that promote economic development of the private sector and the emergence of local producers, according to the vision of classM: profitable projects are sustainable.

Ecolog distinguishes itself from its competitors:
• By outsourcing its CSR action
• By proposing the development of concrete actions with neighboring populations, directly related to the operational issues of the future operator of the base-life: cleaning (manufacture of local detergents), feeding (promoting the emergence of local agriculture), etc.
• By demonstrating benefits for all stakeholders of operations

Each identified project is proposed with an action plan, an analysis of the implementation difficulties, and a budget highlighting the real involvement of Ecolog.
